The Saudari Lombok Recycling Center simplifies methods of recycling and ensures a high-quality output due to the focus of reselling the finished products. The plastic collected from the beach project starts the recycling process off and is put through a shredding process. This shredded plastic then has to be refined in order to progress to the next stage. As the goal of this project is to reuse the materials to make products, the plastic is then heated and placed into molds which include shapes such as pots and furniture. Once this simple process is complete and the plastic has cooled, the outcome is a new product that will be sold.
